ハムニガン・モンゴル語について

About Khamnigan Mongolian

Khamnigan Mongolian is one of the Mongolic languages spoken by the Khamnigan people, who are identified as the Ewenke (Evenki) people in China. They live around the Mergel river basin, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, China. Now approximately 1500 people speak Khamnigan Mongolian as their mother tongue. The ancestors of them immigrated from Russia during 1918-1931 with Buryat people. A part of descendants of refugeed Khamnigans who live with Buryat around the Shinekhen River basin speak Buryat as their mother tongue (i.e, Shinekhen Buryat), the others who live around Mergel river basin speak Khamnigan Mongolian. It is said that Khamnigan Mongolian well preserves many features of ancient Mongolian.

1980年代に内モンゴル大学によっておこなわれたモンゴル諸語を対象としたフィールドワークで用いられた「日常会話翻訳」を調査票に用いたハムニガン・モンゴル語の例文集である。

This is a collection of basic sentences in Khamnigan Mongolian. In order to collect the sentences, we used the questionnaire Translation of daily conversation that the research group for the Mongolic languages of Inner Mongolia University prepared in the 1980s.
